Bristol Dinosaur Project
When people think about finding dinosaur fossils, most would think of digging up gigantic skeletons in far-flung locations like the American Badlands or Gobi Desert.
Yet the West Country has played a surprisingly important role in palaeontology, boasting the first dinosaurs ever reported, in a history of study dating back to the 17th Century. This talk looks at the work taking place at the University of Bristol to understand the lost “Jurassic Park” of the West Country and will allow you to get up close to real examples of fossils discovered in this area.
Tickets cost £5.00.
