Dr Jenner’s House, Museum and Garden is run by The Jenner Trust, an independent registered charity (number 1158316).
Together for Jenner
We are not in receipt of any regular public funding and so we rely on what we can raise ourselves. In recent years, the maintenance of the building has placed huge strain on our finances and our annual income is now £20,000 less than our operational expenditure. We are currently pursuing a number of options to secure the long-term future of the site and reduce our reliance on charitable giving but in the meantime we need your help.
Up until now we have been able to meet our deficit from our reserves, but this is no longer possible. If we are not able to raise £20,000 by March 2019 then sadly Dr Jenner’s House, Museum and Garden will have to close and this hugely important site will no longer be accessible to the public.
Please consider supporting our work with a regular donation so that we can continue Jenner’s legacy, from his Berkeley home.
